COVID-19

At Temple of Hair we are as concerned about your health as we are about your hair. High standards of cleanliness are demanded in our industry with additional precautions taken specifically for the prevention of COVID-19 transmission.

In adherence to the Oregon Health Authority’s new COVID-19 directive, additional precautionary measures have been implemented as follows:

• Pre-appointment client screening.

• Maintaining client contact information, date and time of service for contact tracing should an exposure occur.

• Touchless infrared thermometers to check temperatures of all who enter.

• Limiting the number of people in the shop to eight (8) to maintain 6’ social distancing.

• Guests not receiving a service must wait outside.

• Appointments are required (no walk-ins permitted).

• Clients wait outside until they’re summoned by their stylist.

• Work stations are more than 6’ apart.

• Face masks are required at all times and are available if you came without one.

• Hand sanitizer and soap and hot water are provided for washing hands upon entry to the shop.

• A list of symptoms with which to familiarize yourself are posted at the door.

• A list of precautionary measures you can take to keep you and others safe are posted at the door.

• Curbside pickup for prepaid product is available.

• A new cape for every client.

• A sanitized smock or apron worn by your stylist for each new client.

• A sanitized chair.

• Touchless point of sale options.

And as always, tools (ie. shears, combs, brushes, clips, razors, clippers, edgers, hot tools) are sanitized before each client is seated.
